Punching Cradle (no. 4)

 

 
The punching cradle is used for support while punching signatures. Hand crafted from Walnut and Oak. A movable signature stop holds book signatures in place.

Punching cradle includes a signed, dated and numbered certificate.

Nipping Press (no. 2)

 

 

Made of Solid Walnut and African Rosewood.

 

 

 

 

Hand built using traditional joinery techniques (pinned mortise and tenon, dovetailed base) with hand carved sides.

 

 

This press is a fine quality heirloom tool  built to last for more than a lifetime.

 

 

Overall dimensions without vice:  12 (h) x 17 (w) x 10 (l)

Nipping press made from solid Walnut, built using traditional joinery techniques.  This press is a fine quality heirloom tool  built to last for more than a lifetime.

Hand carved and inlayed book binder’s/book art tool created from exotic hardwoods.

The punching cradle is used for support while punching signatures. Hand carved legs (Walnut) support a thick slab of African Mahogany. A movable signature stop holds book signatures in place. The stop is inlayed with Mother of Pearl.
